劉柱東,男,博士,副研究員。 1976年12月生于湖南寧鄉(xiāng),1999年畢業(yè)于湖南農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué),2004年畢業(yè)于中國科學(xué)院動(dòng)物研究所,獲理學(xué)博士學(xué)位。

博士畢業(yè)后留所工作至今,其中2005年4月至2008年3月,赴德國Max-Planck學(xué)會(huì)化學(xué)生態(tài)學(xué)研究所從事博士后研究——棉鈴蟲和煙青蟲食性進(jìn)化?,F(xiàn)主要從事昆蟲生理生態(tài)、化學(xué)生態(tài)、及分子生態(tài)研究,以農(nóng)業(yè)害蟲棉鈴蟲和煙青蟲為對(duì)象比較研究雜食性和寡食性昆蟲對(duì)寄主利用的進(jìn)化;以外來入侵種紅脂大小蠹為對(duì)象,研究其行為特性、化學(xué)信息及分子調(diào)控機(jī)制,探討外來種爆發(fā)成災(zāi)機(jī)制。目前,在國內(nèi)外刊物發(fā)表論文10多篇,其中第一作者SCI論文8篇。

研究領(lǐng)域

以鈴夜蛾屬昆蟲棉鈴蟲Helicoverpa armigera和煙青蟲害H.assulta, 及森林重要入侵害蟲紅脂大小蠹Dendroctonus valens作為研究模式昆蟲, 深入探討昆蟲與寄主植物的關(guān)系。
